"I really wanted to love this hotel but my room smelled weird, it was tidy but not really clean. The only heater I could find was a wall heater in the bathroom on a timer which didn’t keep the chill out of the room with an outside temp of 22 degrees. I couldn’t find any extra blankets which would have helped quite a bit. Overall my experience was satisfactory and I would recommend the hotel for travelers due to convenience, price and supporting an independent family business. "

"Love the McMenamins chain. They are consistently great and not the run of the mill chains. Olympic Club is great if you love trains! Great viewing. The area is very walkable with good food and drink."

"What an absolute gem! Why anyone would stay near the highway for more is beyond me. Perfectly comfy bed. They provide earplugs for some of the train traffic, but it's generally quiet. It is within walking distance to other spots downtown or the excellent local grocery store! Yummy coffee is provided in the morning, a bakery on the spot, and a fantastic dinner joint (pork belley confit...amazing fried chicken, but always rotating...).
