"Very traditional, beautifully preserved wooden building, with all the charm you need. Shared living room upstairs with the open view on the river, couple of tables and comfortable seats. Downstairs patio going straight onto the river, where you can have morning drink, observing boats going around. Shared bathrooms weren't a problem, as there is not too many rooms. Boat away from the city centre and short walk to the train station."

"Considering the extremely reasonable price this place cannot be beat. Many people suggest staying at a hotel attached to Don Meung Airport, but you would miss the lovely community with it's own Night Bizzaar, Buddhist Temple and lively street community. "This place is lovely. About a 5min walk to the Democracy monument and a 90sec minute walk out to the main road where there are restaurants, 7-11, and tuktuks. You pretty much need to walk from the road down the lane to get to the place as the lane is not really wide enough for a taxi. The lanes are well lit and we never ever felt they were unsafe. It's got a lovely patio upstairs and on the ground floor. The breakfast changed each day and were lovely Thai curries with fruit, coffee and tea....

"We had a very bad experience with this hotel and left after two nights though we booked for 6 nights. We tried to get our deposit back but no reception and no response. After one night they asked us to move to another room which was much smaller and discomfortable. Room was dirty, bed was much to hard and bathroom was flooded with water from somewhere which made it dangerous to walk on the floor. We still haven’t got our deposit back and gave up on them. "
