"The saying "do not judge a book by its cover" perfectly applies to this property. It is a hidden gem..... the BTS station is just a stone's throw away and 4 stations away to Asok - my favorite place to hang out. I love this place and I will definitely come back. "

"I had a lovely stay with my family at Sukhumvit 20. Sukhumvit 20 guest house is owned by a very nice Indian family. They are so hospitable and sweet. They run a small Thai restaurant just down the accomodation. It was so convenient to grab anything you want from 7 Eleven that is located just opposite the guest house. "This is a very basic hotel. But it is safe, clean, and comfortable. I had an inside, ensuite double room, which i think is probably much quieter than the rooms with windows, as they face the busy street and traffic. Breakfast is basic toast, cereal, and coffee/tea, served on the rooftop. Only drawback is there is no elevator. So, this is not the place for those with mobility issues. The staff was excellent -- friendly, helpful, and kind. Hotel is close to Pahurat Market, Sampeng Lane, China...

"Arm, Mark and Wine were beyond an amazing staff. Breakfast was excellent even when an early start for the day was needed, everything would be packaged up in a togo package. They handled all of transportation needed for visiting all the wonderful places in Bangkok. Not to mention all the special touches like noticed my birthday date on my passport and surprising me with cake or the special afternoon tea they set up. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Bangkok. Excellent location...

"There's a ferry pier nearby. I love the area around this place. The park-like place in front is nice and quiet. It isn't crowded like in siam area. Both MRT and Bus station ares across the river and only five minutes away if you walk. There aren't many restaurants nearby. You gotta walk around 10 mins to chinatown for food. "Luck of the draw. I had the top floor no lift room. Obviously leaks in wet season. Water on electric plugs !! Little Geko in room from hole in ceiling. Very worn all round. My friend floor below was much better. But NO LIFT and NOT a place to take ladies !! Even freelancers. But it is cheap"
