This house is a beautiful update of a lovely old home: Hardwood floors, wood trim and fine workmanship of yesteryear graced with modern updates, tasteful decorations, comfortable furniture and a well-equipped kitchen made for a fabulous home base. Jeff and Patty are wonderful hosts, great communication, and the check-in/check-out process was painless....

"This is a charming old historic house with plenty of room for a group. The location is close to many businesses and easy to find. The only fault we could find was that the street outside is very busy and very loud until the wee hours of the morning. The street noise, however, is not the owner’s fault, and some of us just used noise cancelling earbuds at night- problem solved! "

"Great property located close to the Fairfax SD hall where our wedding reception was held. Perfect for our needs during the hectic weekend. The bride & bridesmaids did their hair & makeup there & it was close enough to reception hall you could stumble home on foot if needed. The host also let us park a small camper in the drive & had Electrical hookup available. I would definitely recommend if you're having an event at the Fairfax Hall."

Easy checkin and checkout! Convenience store within walking range plus the TeePee cafe for breakfast or lunch just across the parking area. Look forward to next year!"
