"This hotel is super convenient if you're attending an event at Wells Fargo Arena or going anywhere in downtown Des Moines. Another perk is the free parking. The hotel itself is rather rundown and likely in need of some renovations. That being said, our room was comfortable and check in and check out were very quick. Our room was mostly clean - just underneath the chairs seemed like hadn't seen a vacuum for a time. I was a little surprised that the Sunday breakfast didn't go later than 9:30, and...

"Wasnt bad. When we got into our room there was no ftidge or microwave which shocked us. Went down and asked since we were staying for 2 days we for sure wanted those. The front desk guy did get us a different room. But he also was like did you make a mess in the first room. Told him no we were literally in there less than 5 minutes. He goes im going to check. Which I thought was rude but fine go ahead. Got in new room only 2 towels there were 4 of us staying but i was like ok whatever. Next...

"It was a bit difficult to understand the host, as he had a mid Eastern accent, which we are not used to. He was able to communicate what we needed to know, and was very helpful with parking while on our trip. He drove us to the airport and gave us the hotels number to call when we return. There were water spots on the mirror in the room, and the bed frame squeeked loudly every time I shifted my weight in bed. "
