"The area surrounding the hotel has a lot of construction going on (it seems that is everywhere is Austin) but the hotel abuts Rainey St which has an abundance of great restaurants and bars with live entertainment. We also took a quick walk to Cenote for breakfast, a must go! It’s also a 5 minute walk to a trail abutting Lake Lady Bird, part of the Colorado River, where you can rent kayaks and paddle boards. It’s also not a far drive from the shopping district. The hotel is clean, modern, and staff were great. Wonderful pool with a bar beside it too. "

"Great location next to the convention center. They have a walkway with direct access however the elevator was turned off so stairs were the only access. Friendly and very helpful staff. No late night snack shop available. "

"Top recent hotel experience for me. Nice place but still very casual and friendly. Great location. I love that we were able to bring our dog with us at no extra charge. There's a dog run in the back of the building between the hotel and the lake which was very convenient. My dog had a blast and so did we. I can't wait to come back. "
