"We really enjoyed our stay at Pilot Cove. The cabin we stayed in, #260, felt very private as it was at the top of the hill. Beautiful cabin with everything you need. I would recommend bringing your own pillows, they were a little flat. But the bed was bug and comfortable! Great stay, will definitely be back! "

"Stay was around thankgiving, not clear if the restaurant was open. Fine if it was not but a sign said it was open for breakfast. Go in and get embarrassed. Shame, it looked really nice, and I understand if it is booked thanksgiving weekend. But awkward! Room was fun with nice view. But all sorts of problems with he smart home stuff in it. They will likely work it out. I will likely try again. "

"I spent a week at the property as I had business in Tryon NC, and this motel was 15 minutes to the event. It was quiet at night for the season I was there which was in March but still steady people staying. There was unfortunately a wild fire at the time but the staff kept us updated in the event of evacuation. The rooms are clean and are being updated as under new management. The views are stellar behind the motel. A work in progress but I think the new owners have a good plan for the motel...
