"The staff claimed that this a fake account and did not honour the reservation. As a compromise they offered a room at a price twice higher than the one in the original hotels.com booking. This all happened at midnight, so we contacted the helpline of hotels.com and were assisted with booking a room in another hotel. The cost difference was covered by hotels.com but the replacement hotel was far from the original one and we had to spend 400 TL for a taxi drive since no public transportation was...

Although we could not talk fluently with the staff we managed to convey our wishes and they were excellent hosts. Not a five star establishment but well worth a visit if on a budget. And dont appreciate someone coming in, especially when we are not there and all our stuff is in the room. No elevator in the property, but thats expected in these buildings.
