"It is near to city centre in a quiet road. Large Victorian/Edwardian house. However the bedrooms are incredibly small, and dividing walls are not soundproof. I am a size 16 and 5'6" tall but cd barely fit into the shower. I didnt bother. Good fryup for breakfast but no fruit offered, no meusli, no plain yoghurt"

"Simple check in. Room was exceptionally Clean and very spacious. Good selection of hot drinks and bottled water in room. Very large TV with good selection of channels. Parking is on street and free at weekend, quite narrow street and cars each side but found a place OK near the hotel. 10 min walk to town centre. No food at hotel but was recommended breakfast at the Ascot which they booked for us and is100m away, and excellent quality for £15 each."

"Great location,just 2 minute walk from York minster and the city. Nice double room, en suite. Impeccably clean and tidy. Breakfast was fantastic, selection of fruit,cereals yoghurt etc. and a full English. Limited amount of parking available which was a great bonus. Highly recommended and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Seemed to be a few returning guests whilst I was there,which is no surprise. And finally, what fantastic hosts in Alan and Julie. "We were looking for a 2 bedroom stay for us, our teenage daughter, and our 10 month old. Roomzzz came up asa 2 bed apartment option, which suited our needs perfectly.
