"We spent three weeks here this year, after spending about 10 days last year. We were so glad we went back as this is truly one of our favourite spots in the world, just a short walk to beautiful and quiet beaches, and surrounded by trees and wildlife including howler monkeys. We love being a little off the beaten track but still within walking distance of great restaurants and shops, and a short drive from bigger towns like Flamingo and Tamarindo. Melissa and Richard are perfect hosts."

"Incredible luxury home in small non-tourist Costa Rican town. Krain management has an amazing concierge service. The senorita appointmented the house cooked a delicious breakfast and took care of our every need. People were friendly and town seemed safe. Restaurants and grocery store a 5 min walk. "We stayed here for my Wifes 50th and invited some friends and family to stay with us, we had a total of 21 people at the property and still felt like we had plenty of space. The dirt road leading up to the entrance to the property was a little rough, and some of our guests could not comfortably do the walk up and down, I strongly suggest renting a golf cart (Which we did) but it's still pretty rough, even with a cart. The house keepers were amazing and cooked a great breakfast daily! "

"Location: This house sits about 150’ over the beach and could not be placed any better on the lot. The sunset views that you get every night are absolutely incredible! The steps to the beach are at the end of the cove where the sand meets the rocky shore, perfectly placed. There were only a handful of people on the beach at any given time, basically it was like having your own private beach.
