"One night stay, unfortunately, the bed let our stay down, 2 KS joined together but one side you sat on & it went straight to the base, extremely uncomfortable. Otherwise, room was spacious, staff were very friendly "

"I liked the balcony. Bed was ok. There were stains on the toilet and in the bathroom floor corner between the door and shower. The refrig froze our food even after we turned it down. The restaurant was expensive. Operating the shower was challenging as you had to get wet, with cold water, to turn the shower on. And there wasn't a way to contain the water in the shower. "

"The Hilton at Cairns has a great location, all the amenities and friendly professional staff. However, the building is a bit tired and we experienced a few issues with the AC being loud and the toilet seat was broken when we arrived. Having said that the staff worked very hard and appeared to be run off their feet at times. Which caused them to miss a few things including our dinner order and towels in our room. "

"Hotel was on a nice walkway on the foreshore.House keeping wasn't the best. Empty tissue box wasn't replaced. No floors vacuumed for the 6 nights stay. Lots of marks on the walls . For each day of no housekeeping a $10 credit was given for maximum of 3 days to use on food and beverage. Breakfast very expensive."

"Great location, friendly/helpful reception & amenities!! Only downside was a bit of construction noise behind the property which is out of their control and they were completely transparent about at the time of booking!! I would definitely stay here again!!"

"We had a lovely stay. The staff were excellent and the services were professional. However, the property was a little tired. The glass panel that separated the shower room and the toilet seat was too small/narrow. It's impossible not to have water spilled (overflowing) onto the bathroom floor. Parking was easy. Its only a 5 min drive away to the Port Douglas town centre."

"The units are a great price for 1 night and they are close to the airport, but they are small and older. Anenties need a good bleach... And maybe some cultery in the community kitchen, most people do not have a knife and fork on them. "
