Not only were the views incredible; the room super romantic (with a very cool outdoor tropical shower); and the location perfect for exploring the Great Barrier Reef, Mossman Gorge, and the Daintree Rainforest; Andre (the host) was so warm and welcoming that we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. "Where to start!! Stay at the Silky Oaks Lodge was truly a dream come true. The staff is amazing and made us feel so welcomed and special from the moment we arrived. Our room was perfect - very clean and the mini bar was stocked with everything you could need. Our view was in the middle of the rainforest with river views and total privacy. We enjoyed time on the patio together and the bathtub was heavenly. Every meal was delicious. Such a dream!!! "

"Truly an excellent place, the owners didnt hesistate to put the best building materials into the villa. There are at least 5 to 6 towel hangers in bathroom. No stinginess there. The architect did an amazing job making a 2 BR villa look big, and on our first entry we said "wow". The swimming pool was special with lots of little spa like sections, all connected to main section, people can sit around and chat with separate privacy.
