"This is a new hotel only open since Dec 2024. All the rooms are beautifully furnished, clean and comfortable. The grounds are still in the process of flowering but when they do so the whole area will be beautiful. There is a lake with an area to sit and have a drink whilst watching the wildlife of which there is plenty walking around, seemingly quite oblivious to the humans getting in their way😊. Breakfast was of good quality and plentiful of choice. The staff from the manager Charl to the gardening staff are all extremely polite and helpful. I have no affiliation to this hotel but have no hesitation in recommending it."

"Loved our stay at Aquila! We stayed in the family room which was very spacious & had a patio area outside. All the food was lovely with a big selection from the buffet. We had African wood massages in the spa and used their facilities which were lovely. The grounds are big and spacious and you can sometimes see animals from your windows But of course the best bit were the safaris, we loved the drives seeing all the animals in the reserve my mum also swapped one of the drives for a horse riding safari which she enjoyed. Would definitely recommend staying here for atleast 2 nights "

"Prior to check in time, we requested our luggage be stored as we were going on the wine tram. They not only did this but put our chocolate in a fridge so it would not melt "
