"We booked last minute and as the price was lower than other options was not sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Very spacious loft apartment with a great bed and lovely bathroom. As we were there only 1 night didn't use the well appointed kitchen. Sofa was comfortable and it was close to the center of town. Great bakery next door as well as the supermarket across the street. I would definitely stay there again."

"We had a medical issue - nothing to do with the hotel and their support and assistance was excellent. We also had to lose part of our stay but they were very accommodating and Mckenzie the Manager was a gem!"

"This property is next level amazing. The food is wonderful, the picnics, various restaurants, to say nothing of the wine. We stayed in a retreat cottage which is amazing and well appointed. The staff are great. I was with my wife and four year old daughter and we loved it all. My daughter did horse tours and we just had a truly perfect experience here staying for a week. It’s magical. The property is expansive and offer a lot of great things to do. The kids club is out of this world. The wine region around is so much fun. "

"This place is absolutely stunning! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the owners, we were made to feel at home. The grounds are spectacular, the room well equipped, immaculately clean and the staff all amazing. The breakfast is fabulous, with freshly made omelettes, fruit, cereals, toast and meats and cheeses. I highly recommend this place and we hope to come back some day! "

"Really enjoyed the stay here. Beautiful period property in the perfect location. Staff were all super friendly and warm. Our dinners at Helena’s were a particular treat. The room had an old-fashioned, but quaint and charming aesthetic that perfectly matched the vibe of the hotel. My one complaint would be the WiFi; which was super unreliable for the duration of our stay. It would regularly drop out for extended periods and when it did work; was very slow. Despite this one issue, I would definitely stay here again when we hopefully return to Stellenbosch. "
