"What a gem! Fabulous location in the “country” yet walking distance to town. Exception staff and I mean EXCEPTIONAL! Huge spacious well appointed accommodations. Loved the private driver service. Wonderful restaurant and an amazing full breakfast. Some of the furnishings are ready for an update but overall an authentic, idyllic home away from home. (* note: the bikes need servicing). We LOVED our stay and miss Bonita a her team already. "

"Staff and facilities are superb. When checking in they gave you a choice of wine or soft drinks and some cheese and biscuits. They take your bags to the room. They have an on site restaurant which is a little limited, but with the number of guests it’s great that they now do this, so you can have an evening meal without having to going out. This is a boutique hotel where the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Sheldon and all the other staff are just amazing. The rooms are a good size and the bed was really comfortable, the infinity pool is lovely and the views are spectacular. We had an early check out before breakfast service and they sent us off with a huge breakfast with yoghurt, fruit, croissants, muffins, sandwiches and drinks. Typical of the attention to service that you get at Clouds Estate. Just a fantastic stay!!!"

"A quiet, comfortable, tranquil place to stay in Franschhoek with all required amenities. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. Enjoyed being able to walk around the town easily from the hotel. Many dining options within an easy walk."

"We had a beautiful suite with everything we needed and the hotel provides a free shuttle to anywhere you like in Franschhoek. This includes the wine tram and restaurants nearby. "

"We booked last minute and as the price was lower than other options was not sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Very spacious loft apartment with a great bed and lovely bathroom. As we were there only 1 night didn't use the well appointed kitchen. Sofa was comfortable and it was close to the center of town. Great bakery next door as well as the supermarket across the street. I would definitely stay there again."
