"Silver Palms Retreat was a wonderful place - great location, steps from Tropic of Cancer beach. The house was 100% as advertised and the couple of times we had hiccups (once with wifi, once with a chair that I broke by accident), the team was incredibly responsive, friendly, and helped us solve ASAP. The only con, which is nothing that anyone can solve, is the no-see-ums are awful. Strongly recommend stockpiling Benadryl and bug spray with Picaridin if you are allergic, as I apparently am. My husband also got many bites but wasn't nearly as itchy as me. But to restate - this is an issue in the islands (and Southern US) - NOT anything to do with the rental. Highly recommend! We'll be back for another relaxing vacation!"

"We had a wonderful stay at 23Exuma. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing. It's in a quiet location with breathtaking views. The kitchen is the most well stocked kitchen I've ever seen! Everything was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the pictures online are exactly what you get - amazing. Andrew, the house manager, is so kind, helpful, and accommodating. "Beautiful property on gorgeous beach. Great for families with older children, room to spread out. Manager was very responsive to questions and workings in the house. It is located on a remote part of the island but the beauty and settings are exceptional. "

"Conch House was amazing - we loved how quiet it was and the hosts were simply delightful. One of our favorite things was the fact that the water conditions were generally opposite of the major beaches, meaning you could always find calm water, no matter what the wind was doing."

"We throughly enjoyed our stay here! The location is a little remote although the proximity to one of the best beaches is ideal! We did not do enough meal planning ahead of time (our fault). The grocery stores or restaurants are not going to be what you are used to in the US. Supplies are limited and restaurants will straight up close when they are out of supplies. Having a teenager with a protein oriented diet and another one with a gluten allergy presented its issues. There is a grill on property but we found out the hard way, no gas.I read some other reviews about the lack of seating. We only had 3 travelers so it wasn't a big deal for us but with any more than 3 there is no dining table, only a love seat to sit in downstairs plus 4 barstools that are not in great condition. I guess you could pull in some of the fantastic beach chairs from the shed if you needed a seat but I can see why it could be a problem.We did everything we could, the travel time to Exuma Water Sports is 1 hour plus. Totally worth it though, swimming with the pigs and the half day tour was awesome. Rent a boat at Mimm's for a day, it was the best. We rented a Jeep from New Berlies as a suggestion from the owner and it was perfect. Took the top off to tool around on the one day it was windy while we were there. Also, the close proximity to the great beach caused us one minor issue, all the beach guests filled up our trash can with all their trash (not a house issue at all!)"

"We very much enjoyed our stay. The property is exceptional. Two master suites, a wonderful pool, great and well-outfitted kitchen and great beach access. None of our negatives involved the property itself, but they're worth considering. Bugs can be terrible. Several of us ended up with many itchy bites. Bug spray and/or baby oil can mitigate this. But the property is also remote and on really rough roads. It's 30-35 minutes to groceries, and at least 20 minutes to most restaurants."
