I celebrated my 40th birthday with 9 of my closest friends, and this house was perfect—spacious, comfortable, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The beds are like laying on a cloud. The house manager was incredible, always available to help and made everything so easy for us.A must-do tip: Rent a car! The house is off the beaten path, and while the roads are dirt and bumpy, it only added to the adventure. Having a car gave us the freedom to explore the island at our own pace. After booking, you’ll get a helpful guide with tips for activities and dining.We had two fantastic chefs—Chef Keva and Chef Tevin—each prepare dinner for us one night, and the food was amazing! For brunch, Dena’s Donuts catered a fresh, delicious spread on two mornings that was the perfect start to our day.We ate at a few spots on the island, but Blu was our favorite. The food and atmosphere were top-notch—definitely a must-visit.We also booked Exuma Massage for a day of yoga and massages—one of the best massages I’ve ever had!A highlight was booking a private full-day excursion with Robert’s Island Adventures. We swam with sharks, visited the famous pigs, and explored beautiful cays—a must-do!And the VIEW—breathtaking and unreal! Kayak to the nearby island one day. "This property is absolutely beautiful! Hardly anyone on the beach, very laid back. Not everything is perfect, our safe didn't work, could only lock door from inside villa, they didn't have the proper tip to inflate our floaties, but you have to remember you are in a remote area. You also have to remember you are on island time!! No one is in a hurry. We loved this place and will be back."

"From the booking process all the way to the end of our stay was easy with great communication from Yvonne the owner and house manager Andrew! I really can’t say enough about how quick and responsive Andrew was! The house and pictures are as described! The view is stunning and beach was outstanding! Being able to kayak to the islands out front and snorkel was fantastic! We were a group of 8 adults, 10 year old and 12 year old. We loved it so much we are planning a trip back next year. This will be the first time our group has been to the same place twice! Highly recommend!!"

"The house was in a great location on the Tropic of Cancer beach. The house was clean with just some wear by it being on the beach so to be expected. While it didn’t have a microwave we really didn’t need one so it didn’t matter to us at all. But we kept that in mind while shopping. The upstairs master bed and bath along with the balcony were phenomenal. The accessories for the beach were well stocked with kayaks, beach chairs, etc all in good working condition. The only down side was the seating. There wasn’t a comfortable place to sit at a table and eat. There is a bar type area but the barstools were older and all a bit wobbly and creaky. That would be the only thing I wished was different. I didn’t rate it down because overall it was a great house but it might be more important to others. "

"Wonderful location and estate for 3 generation , 11 people sun sea and sand Christmas. The Sugar Beach Villa was exactly as described in the information provided. Lots of space to hang out together or find a quiet place in the breeze and sun to relax and read. The large stand alone “chat and chill” kitchen was perfect for the family team cooking for dinners and walk- in “brunch” spot for breakfast early and late risers. The large pool was wonderful for the younger children’s fun time when they had tired of the beach and waves, adventuring through the extensive trails and pathways to the beach. The older ones took to kayaking and paddle board adventures to the coral reef, islands and Tropic of Cancer beach.Thank you Kim and Alex for being “Chefs” for two wonderful dinners !Getting around the island was easier than expected and shopping for supplies was not too difficult, we ordered the first batch on line at The Exuma market and it was delivered waiting for us when we arrived. For the rest we visited the stores and Prime meat as we explored some of the island.The Sugar beach Villa was a great location, easy walk to tropic of cancer beach, few minutes drive to Mum’s bakery for bread and rum cake. "

"Very secluded and private - you do need to plan groceries and food ahead of time if cooking 9n own and be prepared to substitute which can be fun if you like to cook. I would not say there are many restaurants to choose from more like small shack/pubs and very casual. The amenities are all here for this house including detergent and plenty of cookware. The pool is fabulous and everything is well stocked. The beach is as close as it gets and there is a small snack shack and bar about 4 doors down. Judy was very helpful. Bring cash if possible and use visa or Mastercard —- no Amex taken on island."

"This is a gorgeous house with spectacular grounds! Amazing beach location! The Padel court was a hit with our court playing group of older teen boys and dads. Everything was well equipped and the property manager was very helpful."

"A fantastic family trip all around there were 9 of us and MORE than enough space for everyone. We were 4-50 something’s and 5-20 something’s and fun for all. The property is spectacular! The pool and beach are amazing! The property manager was top notch, she coordinated everything from a fishing excursion to a fabulous catered dinner and everything in between. Don’t hesitate to book this property you will not be disappointed. "
