"Our first time exploring Cape Breton and we made this our base for a few days. We were expecting it be rustic and it sure was - a real old-style beach cabin. The plumbing had a few issues but it delivered hot water no problem. The kitchen is the front entry so a bit crowded. Still, we had a great stay. "Same problem with the showers from when they were Cambridge Suites. The shower handle is on the opposite end from where you get in. You can't adjust the shower unless you are in it, and the hot water is scalding hot. That was the only negative. Positives include: very comfy bed, room cleanliness, and I love the blackout shades they added!"
