We really enjoyed our stay. The coffee from the buffet was really good. Someone from the lobby helped us a lot, she made us feel comfortable. The guy who operates the buffet too, everybody’s very kind. God Bless them

This is an old hotel, but quite cozy. The rooms are small, but it was ok for us. Beautiful view from the window. There is a balcony where you can enjoy the view. We've watched a beautiful sunrise.

Views and pub are terrific
Pros: the views are amazing, definitely the key feature. The attached pub is excellent... great food and drinks at very reasonable prices, with love trad music a couple evenings a week. Staff are very welcoming and nice. There is a little convenience store/liquor store in the building, which is great, as Iona is far from the nearest shopping centre. Cons: beds were pretty hard... new mattresses needed unless you like a very firm mattress. Top sheet has strains on it that looked like they had been there a while. In general, rooms could use an update/refresh, especially for $150/ night. Overall, we were happy enough with our stay. Things were clean, everyone was nice... just needs a spruce up. Would definitely stay again with a few updates... at least we would come back for the pub. Best Thanksgiving dinner I've had in quite a while.

This was our first stay here. Previous reviews i read was the reason i booked this location. The view was amazing. Room was fine. I didn’t expect to find stained blankets on the bed though. We stayed in one of the lower units. Awful. The people upstairs were heavy walkers, and we could hear EVERYTHING . The cable wouldn't work, and Netflix & Disney was already signed in under someone else's account. Its not the worst place we've stayed at, but i had expected a bit better. Overall, I'd rate it 3 out of 5.

Great spot. My only issue was our room had a light outside thats always turned on right outside the window. So even at night with the curtains drawn it was bright enough to navigate to the bathroom without turning a lamp on. I like a very dark room when i sleep. Maybe mention this idk. We liked the pub inside the hotel building. The staff was great. The room was good for the money. Great view, nice balcony with chairs. Didn' t like that we couldn't t open the window because of the black flies between the window and the screen.

Window covering on doors were not adequate to darken room. Could not access Canadian news channels. Barhrooms need some updating. Room was clean . Entertaiment in the pub was very enjoyable.
