"This is not an hotel or a Bed and Breakfast but a working farm (vineyard and olive groves) with a beautiful guesthouse with comfortable basic bedrooms. The dinners are family style for each room/group and there is only one menu per evening. The dinners were delicious and the wine was very good. There were activities you could sign up for as well. But the greatest part of the property is the views of the vineyards, olive groves, and the Tuscan countryside. Absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful....

"Beautiful property. We did horseback riding which was a highlight and the cooking class was fantastic. The pool was relaxing and beautiful. The rooms were clean and comfortable- literally felt like home!! We would go there again for sure. Incredibly relaxing experience."

"Property is beautiful! Actually picture perfect, with a good breakfast, and great value for the price . The best part is your staying on a winery and you can even smell the grapes fermenting. A great experience! The town Certaldo is so cute , we had a car and explored all around. I really recommend Maestrini Auto for a car rental in town. Recommend this hotel we loved it. "

"The whole family loved our spacious and well equipped apartment in a beautiful setting with far reaching views. The generous welcome box of essentials was a lovely surprise, as was the delicious bottle of wine. Enjoyed al fresco dining in our own garden area and the kiddies play equipment was much appreciated - as was the fabulous swimming pool. Drive into San Gimignano took just 8 minutes along delightful country road."

"This is the most amazing experience. We spent 5 days here. It is a little family run Agriturismo that is exactly what it states. No frills, but living as an Italian farming family would. Lovely pool on site which was a great bonus. The meals are fantastic, home cooked and very affordable. We will definitely rerun with our family for another stay! LOVED IT!!"

"Great Staff, good continental breakfast options. Property is associated w/ a good small winery. Location is down a gravel farm road for about 1/3 of a mile from the local paved road. It's not a big deal, just be aware. There is ample parking in a gravel lot. Lots of good outdoor covered space but unfortunately during our 3 day stay, it was rainy. the view across the valley is San Gimignano. We found it a good base for driving the Tuscany region. "Great place. The only thing I would change is the terrible mattress and pillows, but this seems to be everywhere in Italy. "

"This place is a gem. The location and staff are amazing. The room is nice and with a private bathroom. In addition, the restaurant has AMAZING dishes and incredible wine. I would consider this restaurant at a Micheline Level. The location to drive around Tuscany is perfect and they provide bikes for riding around the area. "We are a group of 12 retired friends traveling first time in Tuscany. Villa Buonamici was the perfect accommodation for us. It is very close to the gate to the walled city center, literally only minutes away. The accommodations were exactly as described. Checkin/out was very easy and convenient. Our trip to Tuscany included stays in four separate locations and Villa Buonamici was by far our favorite. Do yourself a favor and stay at this Villa, you won’t be disappointed."
