"This is the most amazing experience. We spent 5 days here. It is a little family run Agriturismo that is exactly what it states. No frills, but living as an Italian farming family would. "What a beautiful place! It’s a wonderful place to take the kids to just be kids and have fun. Our kids took riding lessons and a cooking course, both wonderful. We were too early to enjoy the pool, but that would have been a highlight too if open. We didn’t rent car for this trip, we wanted to force ourselves to just relax, but one would have been needed to explore more or a longer stay. "We needed a place to stay in or near Vinci for the night before our 3 week stay in a nearby villa began. Il Piastrino looked lovely and was VERY well priced. And it was exceptionally nice—from the spacious, charming rooms (surprise—we had a kitchen), the delicious breakfast, to the warm and welcoming staff. We arrived very late toward the end of a busy pris fixe am fresco dinner service but we were settled in and set at ease. And yes, we returned a few days later for the al fresco dining. Wow....

"This is the sweetest place we have ever stayed. We did not want to leave. Stefania is amazing. She got us reservations at the perfect restaurant up the hill. She is wonderful to work with. The bed was incredibly comfortable which is so important. The back yard is perfect for watching the sunset. The views are as advertised. Thank you, Stefania for making our time so memorable."

Out room was located on level one no elevator so up one flight of stairs. There is a washer and dryer available however they are more for staff use so you may need to wait a bit to use them. "Checking in was easy. Elisa was very helpful and friendly, she answered all my questions and she kept in touch with me before checkin, to make sure we knew exactly where to go. The property was beautiful! We loved our view from the kitchen window. The apartment was well stocked and the pool was lovely. My husband had a nice chat with the owner and said he was very informative and friendly. We loved our stay at Belmonte and we were sad to leave such a beautiful place."
