"We stayed at Lady McDonald for 4 nights during our visit to the Banff area. The facility was as pictured,furnishings and decor were comfortable and clean. Daily breakfast was a great start to our day exploring. Canmore more pleasant and less crowded than Banff, but had a lot to offer."

"The stay was good. Although it said the room could accommodate 4 adults, it was a bit tight. It might be better for a family of 4. Location was excellent, conveniently located at the centre of the town. Front desk service was very good. I especially appreciate that they allow us to park our car in the garage after our checkout as we had a late flight home. That let us enjoy the town more freely even after check out."

"We had a lakeview room on the Fairmont Gold floor. This included a delicious breakfast buffet. Round the clock coffee/tea/soft drinks and a late afternoon extensive tea/snack with many options labeled vegetarian/vegan/gluten free/pork free. It also included a private concierge who was helpful in prearranging day trips to the ice fields and dinner reservations. The facility is beautiful. The lake is stunning.
