"We stayed here for two nights for my son’s tennis tournament at Johnson’s Ranch early March. The rooms are spacious and well kept. Parking is easy. Conveniently located are many restaurants next to it. Building may look old but it is a good place to stay if your goal is mainly to sleep and get ready and get going. Great value for money. "

"The ratings are relative to the type of hotel this is: value. For stays like this, where I am by myself and don't need to look after a spouse or kids, I *really* appreciate the ability to get a room for such a reasonable rate. Location is great if you want to explore Old Hangtown, Apple Hill, Gold Bug Mine, or about an hour drive to south Lake Tahoe area. Service was prompt and friendly. The room had a fridge that worked great (practically brand new), and a microwave which I never plugged in but...
