"I was worried that it'd be cold (January, rainy week), but the place was nice and warm and really comfortable. We enjoyed the outside bath, petted the miniature horses, played games. We visited the Maidu museum just a few miles away, the Railroad museum in Sacramento and borrowed sleds from the owner one day to go sledding at just around 30-40 min drive up the 80 in Nyack. We brought our dog and found nice places to walk her. The streets were very quiet, so no problem to walk along the streets....
