We arrived late at night and they kindly came to meet us at a nearby supermarket so that we didn’t get lost in the dark. Cake, wine and fruit bowl were provided which were all delicious. "Great place to watch the sunset from a shared deck while having dinner. Double check if the jacuzzi is in working condition, it was off due to covid measures during my stay. wifi was not available as described, however there was signal for vodafone data. The host sends you GPS coordinates to find the location in a welcome message. If you are driving uphill to reach what looks like a shed at the GPS cooridnates, walk back downhill a few meters to find stairs going down towards the house."

We found it to be a great launching point for the activities we had planned at the following locations: Porto Moniz, the natural pools in Seixal, the beautiful pebble beach at Ribeira Janela, and Levada 25 fontes. "We've never stayed in such a beautiful place. Since the first day we called it home and felt totally comfortable. The house and garden are made of stones, with a lot of taste and good energy. Most of the material used is recycled and every spot you look there is something beautiful that naturally fits there. There is a huge variety of plants and a gorgeous pond with fish. "This is the place to stay if you like fantastic views across the sea with the most superb sunsets.! The villa is situated in the most wonderful spot , very quiet and not overlooked and stands in immense gardens. The swimming pool is great for a cool off. The villa has everything you need and communication with Emanuel is excellent. A car is a necessity though to reach the supermarkets and restaurants. I would thoroughly recommend if you are looking for somewhere away from the madding crowds...
