"Part II of my Review The small community of Loreto where the Casa is located, has one main street with several bars, an appliance shop, a market, and a grocery store. "Great apartment with everything you need. Leontina, the owner, is very friendly. The terrace has fabulous views and great for eating breakfast or a glass of wine. Ponta da Sol is a short drive and a nice little town with cafes and restaurants. The location is a great base for exploring the island. The drive up the hill is steep and twisty (but not narrow) but if you are intending to drive in Madeira that is something you have to accept. It is worth it!"

"We had a brilliant week staying in this beautiful house. House was lovely and well eqipped, lovely views. We had a good small hire car, which you will need to access this house. The road to the property is very steep and narrow. This may could be a challenge for the faint hearted, however house owner will send you a detailed video near the time of your stay. Excellent communication with Carlis the owner, and we would stay there again."

"This is a nice romantic retreat (log fire in lounge), quiet and set in the woods and pretty gardens and well cared for. Nice place for a meditative retreat or base for walking. Very good wifi. The owner is very helpful and pleasant but not always on site. Apart from no TV or central hotel reception, the apartment was a good size and well equipped, especially the kitchen. "Exactly as represented. Vitor assisted getting us settled and with his knowledge of local feasts and happenings. House had EVERYTHING you could possibly need while staying there. Clean and quiet. "A beautiful house with all the amenities that you would need for your stay and then some. Magnificent views of the sunset from the terrace. The property manager Johnny went out of his way to help us in any need that we had. We only should have paid more attention to the fact that the garage is for small cars. Our rental (Dacia Duster) fit very tight. A great experience that included three hikes with incredible views. "
