The staff is diligent and friendly, with the sole exception of the Sunday afternoon staff that refused to interrupt their snack break to check us in a few minutes early. This is not a hotel to book if you want to enjoy lounging in the lobby or the surrounding area -but it is the perfect place to stay if you plan to spend all of your time in the Old center of Barcelona. "Being American, Europe often feels like a second world country with some of the lack of amenities and the complications surrounding transportation and overall cleanliness. I would say that Granollers is great for being a non-tourist city in Europe and the hotel has amenities that I had not found elsewhere! The staff is incredible. They’re absolutely lovely and polite and they give amazing advice on food, culture, and local adventures. The exemplary staff is defined by an individual named Xavi Pascual who works at the front desk. He did such an amazing job that I am actually planning back to repeat my adventures in Granollers and staying at Aparthotel Atenea again. "
