"this is not your average place to stay. Off the beaten track at the top of a very old village. Once booked in time to take a deep breath and enjoy the scenery and the house dog and cat. This is a rustic house so don't expect perfection and enjoy the experience. "Stayed with our 3 chn in Aug for a week. Rooms were spotless, cleaned every day. Air con was great but didn't need it all the time. Even though the hotel itself doesn't have a pool we had the use of the local Olympic sized swimming pool which was lovely and which we had almost to ourselves. Carmen our host was v helpful and gave us maps and advice on places to visit. We got around to a lot of them and weren't disappointed although we didn't have enough time to visit them all. "In general is a very nice property, as far as, comfort, breakfast, staff, the property by itself, and little details offered to the guests, such as daily fruit and liquor in the room. What we did not like was that the breakfast is offered from 9:00 to 11:00 am. If you need to leave early for any reason you will no have breakfast even if you paid for. The wi-fi is very weak and the A/C does not get cold enough. Overall was a nice stay. "

"This is an exceptional property, beautifully restored from a sprawling 17th century Catalan farmhouse. The couple that run it are very engaging and helpful and the food, prepared by the husband, is simply outstanding. It is very much in the country and a great place to relax and disconnect, which was what we wanted from the experience. If you want a more urban experience, this is not the place for you, but we just loved it. It was stunning."
