"2 minutes from the station, 8 euro and 70 minutes from the international airport - right on the beach. 4-5 lovely restaurants in the small town, beach bars, sun beds and umbrellas for hire. The train runs up the coast calling in on busier tourist towns like Calella as well as Barcelona. The spa in the hotel is good and free to guests. Treatments charged extra. Breakfast is good. Never had dinner in the restaurant as there was plenty of good places with better atmosphere to find around the...

"Like the previous reviewers, we understood we were booking a villa in central Barcelona, so were happy to pay the elevated price. When we arrived at the airport to find our destination was a 40-minute train ride outside the city, we had to rent a car for five, which took a couple of hours; initially I thought I must have misread the listing, so didn’t say anything, but it’s clear from the previous review that there was an error in the listing at the time of booking. "The town is great, the location is tremendous with wonderful views and a short <10 minute walk to the beach and the little high street with several restaurants and convenience store, small market etc."

"We had a fantastic stay at Patxi’s deceptively spacious home in Caldes D’Estrac. The rooms are spacious, meticulously restored with great taste. The courtyard garden is compact and overshadowed, but a great escape from the heat and well laid out with small pool, sofa area and table for 12. A large group of teens and my wife and I loved it."
