"We had a wonderful stay high up in the mountains . The place is very spacious and looks even better that in the photos. It is a 30 min ride on a very narrow, curvy, steep road with the occasional vehicle coming from the other direction, not for the faint of heart. We did not leave the mountain only every other day, not only because of the drive but also because it is so peaceful and relaxing to just stay there, certainly compared to the rest of the island. Juan, the host is great, he answered...

"We enjoyed the Finka so much. It was well located to see everything on the island. It was also very well supplied; many kitchen items to use, second refrigerator was really helpful for our large family, LOTS of plates and glasses, and we really appreciated the pre-inflated pools floats when we arrived. "We loved our stay. This property has lots of space! It has a huge and beautiful garden (and vegetable garden!), a lovely pool and jacuzzi, a large shaded barbecue area near the pool, a shaded Veranda by the main house, and lots of distractions like a tennis, pool and ping pong. Everyone had their own space. Great setting for big family meals. We did a lot of barbecuing and also made a huge paella one night. 10 minute drive to Sa Pobla for supermarket shopping, and the little village of Campanet...

"We loved being “away from it all” in this gorgeous, historic property. Needed the car to go anywhere as it’s a bit off the beaten track. Fabulous pool, and outdoor dining area and views. Amazing walks and nature. Javier a great host, very helpful and lives in nearby Pollenca. "

"This a gorgeous property-down a bumpy track ( slightly washed away by floods in part and thru two sheep gates). Only 15 mins by car from Alcudia and 25 mins from Pollença and Port de Pollenca- both lovely towns to visit. Tues market in Alcudia “old town” great fun - do haggle though! House is big enough for two families to be together but also to have own space. There is air-con in 3 upstairs bedrooms- but use sparingly as the house is totally off grid and powered by solar. We had very hot...

"A lovely, well-equipped villa in a very quiet area a few km outside Pollensa. A minor problem with the air-conditioning was resolved swiftly via the agent and owner. Note that access for anything larger than a smallish car is extremely difficult (if you are offered a hire car upgrade, decline it - we wish we had!)."
