"I loved my stay ay Oro! Clean, the air conditioning was a blessing in the heat! The rooms are a walkup, one short flight of stairs. Super good pizza and salads, 2 blocks away, beside the post office. As happens frequently in Central America, the checkin attendant didn’t spesk English, so just log in to the internet and use Google translate and all will be fine. I recommend!"

"This was one of the most amazing places I have ever visited. The pictures can’t do it justice. Once you venture down the road to the house - the adventure starts! You definitely need a 4x4! The house blends in with the natural environment and you see that with every detail. We were only a family of four but 2 families could have stayed here with room to spare. The main living area is open air and we enjoyed cooking all of our meals in the well appointed kitchen . The pool area was perfect for relaxing and cooling off at the end of a busy day exploring. The seating area by the ocean was breathtaking and my favorite place to enjoy coffee in the morning. My favorite was the bedrooms. Imagine laying in bed in a tastefully decorated room and listening to the ocean waves only a few away. The mystifying sounds of the howler monkeys will wake you up in the morning and you will be delighted by the screeching of the Scarlett macaws in the background. It was the soundtrack of our visit I was worried about the bugs as my son attracts bugs everywhere. I don’t think we saw more than a few and nothing that bit. There was no issues at all with bugs. The caretaker was kind and helpful and we were able to get our laundry done while there. We came to the area to appreciate wildlife and staying at this property was more than we could imagined Don’t hesitate- it was the highest of our trip to Costa Rica . By"

"Casa verde is the perfect jungle house on the beach. Capuchin monkeys and scarlet macaws are your neighbors and you are immersed in the rainforest wildlife. Amazing coffee was provided. I would recommend this home to everyone except i don't want it to be booked up next time i visit! It takes about 30 minutes off the main road in a 4x4 but it is well worth the journey. Incredible home, wish i was still there!"

"Unique getaway, lots of wildlife. If you stay here do dinner at the Bosque del Cabo, lots of wildlife and a great meal. Make sure you're prepared for the rough road in!"
