"Lovely hotel and really can’t fault it. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room very clean and comfortable and a variety of soft/hot drinks and snacks available at no extra cost. We didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on that. Ate in the restaurant one night and had a great meal - again staff very attentive and friendly. Close to the centre, shops and river. Only word of warning would be do not park at their recommended car park in Pepper Street, it’s a dreadful car park with tiny spaces and barely enough room to drive past the parked cars. We didn’t want to risk leaving our car there and it being damaged so we parked at Little Roodee car park about 15 minutes walk away which was really good. I told the reception staff that the hotel should not be recommending the car park as it’s so bad. "
