"I stayed at the lodge primarily for the dark skies and was not disappointed....the stars popped by 9pm and were beautiful. The main draws for the lodge are the mt bike lift and trails down the mountain and boat launching. Unfortunately the lake is too low there for any boating. "I was looking for a quiet place on the lake and it was beautiful. It was quiet and very clean and the owners were very attentive. Great place, highly recommend. "

"Easy access from the main road. Quiet at night. Great breakfast spread. The eggs were a little dry, but it's still okay. Great choices of restaurants around. Clean room. Overall, good value for the money. My only concern was that the water smelled and tasted like dirt, but it wasn't dirty. The soda machine on my floor was broken, but that wasn't a big deal. "

"I want to give this five stars because the location, house and amenities are that great! Yet the heat pump didn’t work well for the pool and thus was a bit colder than the kids had wanted, though they still had a great time. Even so, the house was handicapped accessible and easy for my mother to get around and the game room was everything the kids wanted. Overall a really great find in a great location that allowed us to get out for local tourist attractions. "

"Well appointed and suited for a family with a group of teenagers looking to do something… pool and lake and ping pong … and a section of the river where everyone is close and hospitable! Middle of the week was peaceful on the lake while the weekend was busy… but not overly so. I recommend reserving a boat, small ski fits the boat lift"
