We travel a ton and this cabin had the best “notebook” of anywhere we have stayed. To a of local information, cool history of the cabin, and helpful tips for this historical space! The only thing to be cautious of is the only bed is up a ladder style staircase that is very steep. They note this in the listing, so it wasn’t a huge surprise but...

"We loved our stay at this cabin! The hot tub was a real treat! I deducted one star due to the cleanliness of the property. When we arrived, there were dead bugs and twigs/leaves in the master bed. We live in the woods ourselves, so we know these things happen, but it was as if the bedding hadnt been changed before being made.
