Parking close by was possible although we were there for the bank holiday weekend and we fell lucky with a space coming free as we arrived - the parking permit was in the lounge ready for us. "This cottage is located perfectly. The walk down to the front is about 7/8 mins. There are shops all around and plenty of places to eat. The cottage is away from the hustle and bustle, is very well equipped and the beds are so comfy. We had an amazing weekend and will definitely be booking to stay here again. "

"Loved our stay very clean and cosy ! Best bed ever and beautiful inside from top to bottom. Close to centre 10 min walk perfect Maybe leave a small Complementary gift relevant to the area biscuits maybe As most hotels do this, also needs a full length mirror upstairs rather than in the bottom of the stairs only one very small mirror in second bedroom But other than that we had a fantastic stay "

"The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return."
