"A great location. Tranquil. A stones throw from Dalby forest. A great stay for building good memories. Quirky decoration just adds to the experience. The welcome hamper was a treat. The spring water was invigorating and pure. The family were very friendly. It was great just to have the kids enjoying the simple pleasures of life.... tooasting marshmallows and wading up the stream."

"We had a really lovely couple of days stay in the Romany caravan. We were greeted with the warmest of welcomes. Bruce left us the most amazing welcome pack, lots of homemade goodies we were well & truly spoilt. Great little place with stunning views and peace and quiet. Leave your cares behind and go off grid for a few days, I can highly recommend it. Brilliant place for dogs, they are made very welcome with no charge."

"A super property in a beautiful N Yorks coastal village. Very comfortably furnished, with all mod cons. The 4-star rating is because we were advised just before our arrival that there was a problem with both the dishwasher and the oven, though the problems were resolved to our satisfaction. Also, the location of the property itself was not clearly described. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and I would thoroughly recommend this for a friends or family break."

"What a lovely place, we hired a beautiful Bell tent for 2 nights. It was set up with all the essentials on our arrival. The plot had plenty of space around to set up bbq room and room for kids to play. The site, washrooms and kitchen were like new, very well maintained regularly cleaned. I have a pet allergy so the no pets policy was a great bonus here for me too. We had a great time and will book again. Thank you. "

"The pod we stayed in was beautifully clean and well maintained. It had lovely little touches like a small milk in the fridge waiting for when you arrived, each bed space had its own towels (including bath towels) so that was a nice touch also. The only thing I would recommend is that the view from the front of the pod isn’t the same on the photos due to new lodges being built so when we got there it was a little disappointing not to have that view and just a little suggestion now new lodges are...

"The house was everything we hoped for and more. The decor is spot on and there can't be many houses in Whitby with a better vista. The only thing I would say though is that it is very difficult to load and unload...Church St car park was packed so we had to use the Abbey car park which is a gruelling up/downhill slog for the less fit/able. Be prepared to travel very light as you can't get close to the property with a car. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return."
