"This is the perfect place to stay near Nevada city. You feel like you are out in the woods, but you are actually close to town and the hiking trails. The cottage was very cozy and extremely well equipped. The owners were very responsive to our requests. The place is perfect for a couple and we hope to return again soon."

"Thank you Justin. We had a little trouble finding the place because the Vrbo site was having problems and we didn't receive the information from them but aside from that everything was fabulous. Butler Place is in a great location, was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything anyone could need. Thank you so much for a great stay."

"We were unable to find the property and had no response from the host after an email regarding conflicting emails with two different check in times. We were on a wild goose chase with our navigation leading us to 3 different areas all with either a dead end road or locked gate! Frustrating- Would recommend no one to rent this place in the future! also would recommend Vrbo/expedia have a way to contact host directly for times like this!"

Cool location, nicely decorated spa area, and the deck and outdoor space were great Inside however we had a couple major issues. The air conditioner was one of those standalone units, didn’t cool the place down. The bed was very uncomfortable and is in the loft, way too hot to sleep. "This property/cabin was perfect for our short visit.1 block off old town, easy walking distance. Visited Washington(town) off 49 to the north and back down to Grass Valley. Nevada City still has an old town feel to the old town area. A little disappointed in Grass valley, it's lost that. Sure the buildings are old but the closure and modernization of old town just lost a lot of appeal for me."
