"Super cozy cabin and lovely location. I had a great time and wish I could have spent more time there. The wifi worked fine, and it was not a serious issue for me but it’s important to know that AT&T (at least for me) does not have cell reception there."

"This property/cabin was perfect for our short visit.1 block off old town, easy walking distance. Visited Washington(town) off 49 to the north and back down to Grass Valley. Nevada City still has an old town feel to the old town area. A little disappointed in Grass valley, it's lost that. Sure the buildings are old but the closure and modernization of old town just lost a lot of appeal for me."

"The house and property are beautiful and perfectly located. Deer and wild turkeys came right to the house. The Yuba river is at the end of the road you drive up on, you just gotta keep driving even when you hit the narrow dirt road. We went for Grass Valley but fell in love with Nevada City. Papa Bear was much bigger than we needed but we love space, and it had plenty of it. We got to sit on the backyard porch and watch the deer. You are in the deep woods, yet only about 3 miles away or so from...

"Just what an amazing property! Hosts were great and everything was exactly as they said it would be. My family loved it and everyone had great space for relaxation and we just LOVED the view from the back porch. We would recommended this property to anyone."

"I loved it here because it is peaceful and everything I needed was right here and also close to Grass Valley and Nevada City. Parking is excellent and it is just a short walk a bit downhill along a path to where you stay. The deck out back is secluded and very pretty. Established trails down to Deer Creek are a few steps down the dead end road. A lovely and quiet neighborhood. The hosts are great."
