"This hotel while old was a real experience for us , an old fashioned Girl with lots of character. the shared bathroom didn’t worry us at all and they were clean , they reminded me of the old Bath houses . The pub was a real pumping place on the Friday and Saturday night and Cookie from the kitchen was a pro at cooking Chicken Parmigiana which is our favourite when we visit Australia. If you want to try something different The Occidental is worth a stop over . Only a short walk to Darling...

"The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were very quiet. There was no view from our room which didn’t worry us as that meant there was no traffic noise. The check in was quick and efficient. No complaints at all. Perfect place to stay in the centre of the city."
