"My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property is beautiful with lots of charm and character. The property managers weee very accommodating offering lots of amenities and personal touches that you wouldn’t get at a hotel. The location was perfectly tucked away from the busy streets but also an easy walk or drive to anything you want to see or do. The room was cozy and very clean upon arrival. We chose Providence this year and the Woodbine property from Sunday til Wednesday afternoon. The location was conveniently central to our touring. I was concerned about “available” parking but found spots within the block every evening. The unit was very clean and comfortable and had a basket of unexpected goodies - coffee and health bars. "It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "
