"It was my first time staying in hostel. I loved it. Make sure you register before check in. This is the only way to get number to enter the building and room. There is no service desk or human. "The cottage was very clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood with easy access to main routes. The interior decor was tasteful and the hospitality of the hostess was wonderful! She left us snacks, coffee, and flowers. The cottage was a little snug in the master bedroom but the King size bed was very comfortable. "It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "
