"We had a lovely stay in the tiny village of Orsans. I stayed with 11 friends (mainly couples) in July and we couldn't have enjoyed it more. The village is a short car journey to Carcassonne, which we visited for an afternoon though the heat cut out trip short. It’s a fantastic and quirky old house that has not been over restored, it’s a little remote, there is nothing in Saint Paulet, so a drive to get delicious bread and pasties every morning. "From the initial enquiry, communication with the owners was excellent. Anne and Frédéric are excellent hosts, very helpful without being intrusive. The accommodation cannot be faulted. Clean, very well equipped and very spacious. Small but well stocked supermarket within 5 minutes. Larger Carrefour and E Leclerc hypermarkets within 20 minutes.
