"Myself & mom choose this place because of closeness to relatives we were visiting. The home was very clean, queen bed comfy. Mom slept in bunk, which is really meant for kids, but she's short so it worked. If you plan to cook, there is only 1 fry pan, 1 sauce pan, 1 cookie sheet & 1 spatula. There are no sharp knives, only 2 butter knives & 4-6 spoons & forks. No baking dishes & only 1 hot pad. No toaster & a mini microwave. "We did the Wild Hare 10k for the first time and had originally planned on staying at the large cabin at Bastrop State Park, but unfortunately it was booked. Lucky for us, because this place is like having a state park all to yourself. There are numerous trails with lots of hills and gorgeous scenery.
