"We were in town for a cook off, the 3 queen bed room was a great affordable option that kept everyone together. Room was a great size (2 rooms) the dresser in the bedroom was off centered or something because the drawers would not shut and people kept running into them. Finally had to put luggage in front of them for safety. Room was clean but attention need to be put on the bathroom, the ENTIRE surrounding the caulk is coming off it was horrible. Breakfast was not all out when we had to leave at 7:15 so we didn’t get to eat anything but a hand full of dry cereal and an orange. Also NO elevator…. So 6 of us had to lugg up all of our belongings to the room in 3 trips. We were looking forward to the hot tub that was listed, but when asked there are only hot tubs in certain rooms for an upcharge and not by the pool. Ehhhh it was a decent hotel for the price. "

"We loved this peaceful, quiet old home. I would love to know the history of this home and could be a nice addition to leave in the home for the visitors. Although we had no kids on this trip, it has plenty of room and can accommodate large families with kids. Everyone had their own private bathroom. The pool and hot tub is surrounded by fields of wild flowers. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Plenty of hot water for showers. Two washers and dryers and Two refrigerators. Has an iron and clothes steamer which was handy for the wedding we attended. The only thing we needed and missed was a tea kettle as we are a family that drinks hot tea, but we just boiled water in a pot on the stove. If we ever came back to Texas we would stay here again with a large family. Thank you for sharing your home. "

"We had a lovely time at Tuscany in Texas and John was a great host! We came to the country to visit aging family and, with a 7-year-old in tow, it's sometimes hard to keep him entertained. The Tuscany pool was a welcome distraction and something we used every morning and night. This peaceful location was a perfect way to get some time to unwind in the midst of all our visits. Beds are comfy, the house had everything we needed, and the property is beautiful (and will be even nicer in the future). So I don't appear to be the owner writing a glowing review, I will list a small complaint. There are a lot of light switches at the house and it's very confusing to get them turned on and off. Luckily all the outside lights are controlled remotely and John was available to turn them on/off when we requested a change. And we eventually figured out the key inside lights to use and had a system figured out by the end of our stay.Overall, we definitely plan to come back to Tuscany. This is such a lovely part of Texas and we are lucky enough to have an excuse to come visit annually. And now that we've found Tuscany in Texas, we finally have a retreat that makes the trip more like a vacation for all of us."
