"We absolutely loved our stay...just one negative...the beds were very uncomfortable. When sitting on them, it sounded like they were going to break. We could feel the springs in our back and we sank to the middle. Rolling over was very loud. The mattresses need to be replaced quickly. We were there for a Select Softball Tournament for my daughter. She has mild scoliosis but usually has no problems with hotel stays. Her back and sides were hurting after sleeping on these beds. I am a Texas history fan and I was truly blown away by all of the historical stuff around the house. This is a short drive from Houston. We will definitely stay here again when we need to get away from the city."

"The silo and property are beautiful and decorated with whimsy. Unfortunately no seal on front door so a lot of bugs in room. It didn’t bother us but overall would prefer less bugs. Would recommend adding some hooks or a shelf in bathroom. Otherwise very charming property"
