"perfect location for a day of skiing, clean room, large breakfast"

"All staff are great!...organized, friendly and professional. Our room, bathroom and linens were clean. On a Friday evening, we ate at The Tavern. Our salads and chicken chili were fresh and delicious...food and drinks were reasonably priced. The weekend buffet offers a wide variety of hot items and is constantly refreshed by staff. The facility has the feel of a lodge and there are several spacious common areas which offer a place for guests to relax outside of their hotel rooms. This includes a casual dining room, comfy room with several sofas, a television, fireplace and piano and a game room in the basement. While we did not use the pool, sauna or fitness center, we did check it out while it was open and the guests who had just finished up and were leaving said it was excellent. I would definitely book at this location again."

The bartender is super sweet, the clientele at the bar are pleasant. they always have the fire going at night, and you can strike up a conversation with just about anyone. Super convenient and close to the ski areas, I will be back!"

"It was our first time up to Sugarbush. Driving to the White Horse Lodge a few miles down the road was great and even better driving to My Ellen less than a mile away the following morning. The place was clean and comfortable and perfect for our stay. Will definitely come back to the White Horse Lodge next time around."

"Such a cute, quaint space. Would love to come back in the summer to take full advantage of the area. Came in the winter time so we could not use the deck and fire pit. Definitely a great feature for extra space to eat on the deck during warmer time. Pull up coffee table inside is convenient for eating during Winter, since there is no other dining area. Winter time is great if you ski/snowboard, close to ski areas. We went into Rochester for lunch one day, and was a nice small "downtown". The home on its own was just enough for us to enjoy and have a break from reality for a weekend. 4WD /AWD and snow tires absolute must during winter -- we came during/after some snow fall and the road leading up to the property was very steep and slippery, even for our AWD Subaru with snow tires. Even day after the storm the road was still snowy/slippery and not fully plowed. Main roads were well maintained. Owner communicated with us prior to arrival as well as morning after to check if anything was needed or if we had questions. Instructions for items throughout the home were easy to understand. Hope to be back again some day."
