"The cabin had everything we needed, was comfortable, and quiet. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a nice getaway to celebrate a milestone birthday. Jeff couldn't have been nicer and provided ample information about the area and where to eat, etc. Would highly recommend staying at the cabin if you're looking for a quiet escape from your regular life...even if you already live in rural new england as we do. "My wife and I stayed in "The Little Loft" for a ski trip to Sugarbush. The cabin it small for sure but offers everything you will need from a standpoint of short term livability. We used that hot tub daily / nightly after skiing all day, had a great meal we grilled out and had a few nice bonfires as well. If you do not want to have to drive 30 minutes for dinner or shop for your food and cook it, then you may find it a small inconvenience but for us we intentionally wanted to be in a quiet cabin...

"We returned to the same cabin 3 years later. In addition to swimming and hiking right at the property, we took an afternoon trip to Stowe and another to Burlington. Back at the cabin, we enjoyed a family fun night playing pool, air hockey, darts, and cornhole in the basement. We also cooked several meals in the well stocked kitchen. The cabin serves as a comfortable home base to explore Vermont!"

"Pros: - Very responsive property management - Big house, great Vermont cabin feel - Clean bathrooms and great water pressure - Decently stocked kitchen - Beautiful location/ scenery Cons: - A bit hard to find (google maps gets confused) - We had many flies in kitchen and bedrooms - Heating issues (eventually fixed) - Access issues upon arrival (immediately fixed) - Have to remove your own trash when you leave"

"This little cabin nails it. Charming log-cabin decor with two comfortable beds in lofts. You can look out the skylights to the trees (and the stars) while lying in bed. The kitchen has everything you need - perhaps not ideal for cooking huge meals but great for breakfast and other basic meals. The fireplace and wood stove are huge bonuses, and Jill and John keep it stocked with everything you need to build a fire. "Beautiful area for short 4 day stay . Cabin was clean and cozy. Well stocked for pretty much anything . Only dislike was the bedroom was in a loft area with narrow steps , and a bit tough to navigate in the middle of the night when the restroom was needed . Loved the quaintness otherwise . "

"We loved how cozy and warm the cabin was, how easy the fireplace was to operate, and how much room we had. The view of sunrise from the back window and our ability to walk out there to enjoy it was a pleasant surprise. We'd love to come back."
