"The property is beautiful and the staff were more than happy to help and facilitate our every needs. A male bar tender / waiter did let down the team by being short and rude but this did not affect our stay and it is not fair on the rest of the team who went over and above to please us. We stayed one night for our 25th wedding anniversary. The hotel spa pools are natural thermal pools and it is clear that when this hotel was refurbished, no expense was spared, we loved it albeit I can see why some reviews say it is tired but the quality of the fittings and finishes are top quality such as silk cushions in the bar area. The bar area serves drinks and cocktails how they should be served. The room, bathroom and other spa facilities such as the sauna, steam room, gym and treatment rooms etc were clean and in excellent condition and the spa staff were also excellent. The breakfast and dinner was also excellent. The evening dinner was fantastic, lots of traditional Tuscan food and wine and the concierge was also very helpful with the wine and menu!"
