"What a beautiful home this is. We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment on the ground floor but the owner allowed us to have a look at all the other rooms which were beautiful. Our apartment was very spacious with all amenities for self catering including washer and dryer. The bed was very comfortable and lounge area also good. "This is a review of the Lanaux Mansion, which is a lovely historic mansion steps away from many restaurants, activities, and the exciting nightlife of Frenchman Street. "I can't say enough about the great location. Quiet neighborhood about a 10 - 15 minute walk from most points of interest in the french quarter. A 24hr gas station a couple blocks down that serves great fried chicken when you're headed back at 4am drunk and hungry. My only gripe would be toilet area is very tight between the shower wall and the vanity, especially for big guys like myself. All in all, the wife and I enjoyed our stay."
