"Eight members of our family spent a lovely long weekend at Riversdale Lodge to celebrate two 80th birthdays and everyone had a fantastic time. The house is lovely and in a gorgeous setting - we felt totally relaxed immediately on arrival. The beds are very comfortable, the communal spaces inside and out were spacious and everything needed was provided. "We found the property spotless and very well equipped, beautifully furnished. Each bedroom has its own en suite, one with a gorgeous balcony with amazing views for morning coffee. A lovely addition to have the farm shop and restaurant next door - the food was delicious. A few small points - the property does get quite warm with all the glass. The fans were a great help but air con would make such a difference, especially in the smallest bedroom where your only alternative is to open the window...

"Really impressed with this little home on the farm. Hot tub overlooking the countryside was a gorgeous touch and lovely to sit under the stars at night. Hosts were incredibly friendly but not intrusive, watching the alpacas have a shower was a treat! We did a lovely walk in the sunshine to the dog and muffler inn which was well worth a trip."
