"Owner canceled our stay the night before our stay due to flood damage at the house. I booked the stay 2 months in advance and the owner still failed to let us know that the house wasn't available. We had activities booked (hiking fishing horseback riding) that we had to cancel because we couldn't find accommodation for our group on such short notice. Basicall ruined the second half of our vacation."

"This place has great potential, if they were to install AC. It is also located on a busy street, which wouldn't be a problem if you could close the windows at night, which you can't because it is too hot. There are also roosters, dogs barking, etc. This was the biggest issue. That being said, the place is nice (modest, but clean and equipped nicely). The pool and grounds are fabulous. The management company was excellent!"

"We very much enjoyed our stay! The house is every bit as nice as the pictures suggest, well appointed and roomy! Even though we had an unusual weather system that resulted in nearly 2 weeks of nonstop rain we had plenty of room. The house is located off a long unpaved road the, by Costa Rican standards, is very good. Despite the rain we never had any issues with the road. "My wife and I spent 2 amazing weeks in Costa Rica with this property as our home base. We like being in nature, going on hikes, watch birds and this place was perfect for just hanging out and as a home base for excursions to Corcovado and other area parks. What a fabulous location! In our two weeks we never heard or saw a plane or vapor trail. No traffic by the house. Only a rare sailboat out in the ocean. So peaceful just the two of us. Beautiful birds everywhere. "
